Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, 'The Pearl of the Swiss Riviera', is located on the shores of Lake Geneva with magnificent views of the lake and the Alps. Built in 1906, the Fairmont hotel offers a traditional and elegant atmosphere combined with the latest technology. In 2009 a total of 91 rooms and suites, the corridors, the public areas and function rooms have been refurbished and now show a contemporary and elegant design. Tasty food and drinks are served at Harry's New York Bar, which also offers live music every day except Sundays. The refurbished Brasserie is the ideal place to enjoy a delightful meal, whilst the new Lobby Lounge offers a great atmosphere for a drink. The in-room dining service is available 24 hours a day. The breakfast buffet is served in the winter garden, offering great views over the Lake Geneva and the Alps. A small terrace is available during summer. Enjoy the fitness, health and wellness facilities in the 2000 m² Willow Stream Spa. Access to the Willow Stream Spa is included in the room rate. It offers an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, fitness room, sauna and hammam. In the summer time, the outdoor pool invites you for a swim, whilst the large garden is the right place to relax. An extensive program of massages as well as face and body treatments are available (at additional charge). The Fairmont Le Montreux Palace has 235 rooms and suites, most of which overlook the lake. Most of the rooms have a balcony or a veranda - ideal spots to take advantage of the first rays of sunlight or the warm summer nights. A few pieces of antique furniture enrich the recently renovated interior.

Food & beverage

La Brasserie du Palace
Renovated in 2009 it offers an elegant and contemporary design and the typical cuisine of a French brasserie as well as traditional Swiss specialities. The wine menu offers a wide range of regional specialities and from abroad.

Lobby Lounge
The new Lobby Lounge is the ideal place for a late breakfast, a snack during the day, a delicious cake in the afternoon and a drink in the evening.

La Terrasse du Petit Palace
A haven of peace with a breathtaking view on the lake and the Alps. Open during the summer.

Harry's New York Bar

Area information

Montreux and its surrounding offer a wide range of activities from culture to sports: Water sports are available within walking distance from the hotel (sailing, surfing, swimming, water skiing, pedal boot), whilst the mountains invite for an extensive hiking tour.

Enjoy a visit of the Railway Museum at Blonay, the Alimentarium at Vevey, the Audiorama at Territet or a train ride to the Rochers-de-Naye.

The Swiss Riviera also offers various events - the well known Montreux Jazz Festival in early July, the September Musical in September, the Festival du Rire in December and the largest Christmas market in the French part of Switzerland.
