Take the motorway exit Luzern-Zentrum or Luzern-Nord and follow the signs to the Verkehrshaus (Transportation Museum). When you reach the Hofkirche, you will find the Hofgarten opposite. From the railway station, it is a 20-minute walk along the lakeshore.
