In the summer months, you can while away your time in our spacious garden terrace under the shade of ancient chestnut trees. To round off your visit, take an excursion on the cable car up to Klewenalp (1600 metres above sea level) where you'll find a stunning panorama stretching over 100 kilometres of mountainous peaks and ten lakes, including Lake Lucerne.

Spacious rooms decorated in the Art Nouveau style. There is no air conditioning but a fan is available.

SUMMER (May to September) - open daily - breakfast / lunch / dinner
WINTER (October to April) - open from Wednesday to Sunday - breakfast / lunch / dinner
Breakfast served from 7 AM to 10 AM; on the weekends as of 7:30 AM.

Our chef provides an excellent food selection all freshly prepared for you. A smoothly prepared fish from the "Lake of Lucerne"or a tender steak, we assume there is a great selection for everyone. While enjoying the outstanding look over the lake into the Swiss mountains, just relax with a tasty glass of wine ore one of our great Malt Whiskeys. Please book your table for dinner in advance !

Area Information

The village of Buochs is a nice spot, on the Lake of Lucerne, just 15 minutes from the city centre of Luzern by car. Possibilities to travel by steam boat on the lake or enjoy walks in the mountain area close by. Trips to Mount Pilatus, Stanserhorn or Klewenalp are just moments away.

Travel Information

The place is just 5 minutes drive from the motorway A2 (Basle - Milano). Approximately 15 minutes from Luzern or 45 minutes from the Gotthard tunnel.

- Use exit number 34 (Buochs).
- Turn left and follow the main road.
- After entering the village follow the main road for another 500 metres.
- Then turn right towards the lake and you will reach the hotel.
